Rena Sofer is a brilliant, bold, and beautiful actress, best known for her striking blue eyes. She was born in Arcadia, California. Her mother was a housewife who walked out on her family when she was just two years old. Her father picked up the reigns of being both parents to her and her older brother, David.
Rena was discovered at age 15 by a New York talent agent and started modeling before turning to act. Rena made her first mark on television on the soap opera, Another World. She went on to win an Emmy on General Hospital, before appearing on prime-time shows like Seinfeld, Melrose Place, Friends, NCIS, Two and a Half Men and more, to name a few. In 2013 Rena returned to her daytime roots, taking a leading role on The Bold and the Beautiful.
In 1996, Rena married her on-screen spouse, Wally Kurth, from General Hospital and became a step-mother to his 8-year-old daughter, Meghann. Wally and Rena had another daughter, named Rosabel, before separating and eventually divorcing.
Rena met and fell in love with Sanford Booksatver, a director and producer. Rena and Sandy got married in 2003 and had a daughter named Avalon, who is now 14 years old. After 14 years of marriage, Rena and Sandy got divorced before falling back in love again. They are officially re-engaged with plans to remarry.
Rena says, “Sometimes you are lucky enough to find the man of your dreams all over again.”- A happily ever after love story if there ever was one.
